MEANING: Stylized variation of the Knot of Everlasting Love. The Celtic Heart is a variation of the original Triquetra Knot. The Heart shape evokes love and it is formed from one continuous line that represents eternity. This symbol expresses “Everlasting Love.”
While wood burning a Celtic Heart onto a cross, Katrina accentuated the heart shape. Coop liked the Variation so well he began carving the knot! Because Katrina can not leave well enough alone...The wood burning serves to accentuate the heart even more and adds more hearts in the swirling flow of Love.
This can become a personalized wedding or anniversary gift. Names and dates can be burned on the back...contact me please. Please note, this is not a stock item. This is a picture of an item that may have to be custom made for you and may take up to two weeks to produce. The wood burning will be slightly different from piece to piece, but it will contain the major themes mentioned above.
THE CARVING: My Carvings are single pieces of western red cedar, designed and carved to be wall hangings. Each piece is finished with a blend of clear oils that brings out the natural color of the wood. For more information on the process of creation, please see my profile.
SIZE: One picture has the piece on a quilting board, lined up on the 1 inch marks. So subtract 1 inch from the height and width for the stock size. Measurements may vary slightly from piece to piece.
