MEANING: The bodies remain separate, representing the importance of maintaining our individuality within the relationship, yet the tails intertwine in a heart of love, as our lives join in a journey of love. We fondly call this our “Anti-CoDependency Knot”.

This will appeal to Cat Lovers as well as couples building a strong stable relationship.

This is a mini version of Coop's wood carved Cat Love Knot. It measures approximately 9 inches tall by 6 inches wide. There are pictures with both sizes shown so you can see the difference...this listing is for the wee one!

AND... A BIT OF STORY BEHIND THIS DESIGN:

From Katrina: When I started working with Coop, I started drawing up what became our Cat Love Knot. It was inspired by a small, cast iron statue at his veterinarian's office. As I was working on the knot, trying to get the shape to look like two cats, to weave the tails, to link their bodies, the meaning (underline, italic and spooky woo-woo music) came to me. In that meditative state the designing took me to, the conversations Coop and I had been having (our relationship was new and we were doing a lot of talking about our past and our exes.) all of a sudden clicked into one whole. The bodies remain separate, representing the importance of maintaining our individuality within the relationship, yet the tails intertwine in a heart of love...Coop laughed and said it was Anti-CoDependency! And our first collaborative knot was born!

THE WOOD CARVING: My Carvings are single pieces of western red cedar, designed and carved to be wall hangings. Each piece is finished with a blend of clear oils that brings out the natural color of the wood. For more information on the process of creation, please see my profile.

SIZE: One picture has the piece on a quilting board, lined up on the 1 inch marks. So subtract 1 inch from the height and width for the stock size. Measurements may vary slightly from piece to piece.
